CPMC to purchase Powell Valley in the United States

CMPC agreed to a contract for the purchase of the company Powell Valley, in the state of Kentucky,United States of America.

Powell Valley is a North American company dedicated to the development, production, and commercialization of interior trims and other specialized wood products and has two production facilities, located in Clay City and in Jeffersonville, both in the state of Kentucky.

The agreed price for the company is US$ 40 million, which will be paid on the closing date of the Transaction and is to the usual price adjustments in this type of operation. It is estimated that the acquisition will impact positively CMPC’s results, without prejudice now not possible to quantify.
